We cordially invite you to join the 5th European Ground Squirrel Meeting - EGSM 5 - in the Free City of Rust, Austria. The meeting will be hosted by the Department of Behavioural Biology, Faculty of Life Sciences.

This meeting will bring together scientists and students from all over Europe aiming to present and discuss forefront research on the European Ground Squirrel and its future perspectives.

The idea goes back to 2002, when a kick-off meeting in Madjarovo, Bulgaria was initiated by BirdLife (Stoycho Stoychev). Since 2006 it has been organised every two years, with the first EGSM in Fels?tárkány, Hungary, the second in Sv. Jan pod Skalou, Czechia, the third in Ordu, Turkey and the fourth in Kamie? ?l?ski, Poland.

Online registration will open in May 2014.
