Ethics in research is all too often limited to procedural concerns about the study design and whether it will be approved by the ethics committee. However, ethics in research should consist of much more than just that. It should be an ongoing and reflexive moral inquiry into the nature and the purposes of research itself.
The Center for Doctoral Studies invites researchers and PhD candidates, together with external experts, to focus on a broader discussion on research ethics and integrity during its annual conference.
