A PhD nowadays is no guarantee for a research position in academia. Besides excellent research, a number of good papers, and an excellent network, it also is essential to know how the system works, and what being a researcher implies. In this lecture two postdoctoral researchers, will share their experiences and give insights into possible strategies to embark on a career in academia.
