The Tibetan medical system looks back upon a long history and gains more and more international recognition through its holistic approach on the entire human organism. Dr. Tsultrim Kalsang will focus on the past and present of the traditional Tibetan medicine.

Dr. Tsultrim Kalsang is a well reputated research doctor at the Materia Medica Department of the Tibetan Medical and Astrological Institute (Men-Tsee-Khang). In 1993 and 1996 he did research in cooperation with the Institute of Pharmacognosy of the University of Vienna.
