In September 2018, I went on a tour through the North Korean brewery industry. In this talk, I will share my impressions about a country of colourful cities and an impoverished countryside. All overshadowed by a strict and omnipresent regime that seeps into every aspect of everyday life.

This talk will provide a glimpse into one of the most secluded and mysterious countries on earth. It will be a very personal account on the things I have seen, the people I have met and the absurdity I have witnessed.

The talk will be held in English and will feature a plenitude of stunning

pictures and videos from North Korea.
