The Afternoon Talks are a series of lectures that aim at bringing together young researchers and experts from different fields to discuss various aspects of a doctorate and how to prepare best for the next steps in the career.

The 4th Afternoon Talk takes place in cooperation with the Publishing Company Elsevier and provides insights into the review process of scientific papers. The lecturers will share their experiences as editors and reviewers and provide practical tips when presenting a manuscript to leading journals. The main focus is on publishing in the Natural and Life Sciences.
