Lecture: Climate Change and Climate Crisis

Staying within Planetary Boundaries.

The climate crisis affects all areas of life - which is why it is examined in an interdisciplinary way in this lecture: Climate science, geography, economics, cultural studies, political science, law and many more. International, high-calibre speakers* from various universities and departments will address the question of how the world must be transformed in times of climate crisis. The exam is in open book format. This lecture is organised jointly with Lectures For Future

All of the speakers are well-known researchers in their respective fields and beyond. They are from various institutions: University of Vienna, Technical University of Vienna (TU), Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung (PIK), University of Oxford, University of Lausanne, Universität Tübingen, IIASA,...

Many of the speakers participate in public debates about the probable effects of the current climate crisis and about possible remedies. The final program will be presented in due time.
