Abstract: Tackling climate change is one of the biggest challenges of the coming years. Virtually all scenarios that limit warming close to 1.5°C use Carbon Dioxide Removal. During the colloquium, we will discuss why climate strategies rely on Carbon Dioxide Removal, what Carbon Dioxide Removal can or cannot contribute to our climate strategies and what are the major challenges of Carbon Dioxide Removal are.
