This conference brings together current research by international scholars on the varieties of English spoken in Ireland.

Continuing the symposium series which has been held in Dublin (2010, 2013), Limerick (2015), Bergen (2016), and Potsdam (2018), the sixth symposium on New Perspectives on Irish English will be held at the University of Vienna from 19–21 February 2020.
