VASS—the univie: Vienna Arctic Summer School—is an official summer school of the University of Vienna, organized by Peter Schweitzer and his team at the Department of Social and Cultural Anthropology and funded by the WWTF (Vienna Science and Technology Fund). It is the second in a planned series of international summer schools that was initiated by the 2015 FENOR summer school in St. Petersburg.
