Nina Olson will discuss recent research conducted by the Taxpayer Advocate Service about factors that influence taxpayer compliance behavior, including social and pers onal norms, audits, and penalties. She will also discuss the role of taxpayer rights and off ices like taxpayer advocates and ombuds in fostering trust in the tax system.
