Trefftz Workshop 2026

Beschreibung

Trefftz methods are computational techniques for solving mathematical equations that describe phenomena such as waves, heat, and fluid flow. Named after Erich Trefftz, whose influential 1926 paper laid their foundations, these methods use specially adapted mathematical building blocks to produce efficient and accurate solutions.

Marking 100 years since Erich Trefftz’s seminal 1926 paper, this workshop will celebrate a century of Trefftz methods and look ahead to the future of Trefftz-inspired research.
