Do we have free will? Many philosophers and scientists reject this idea on scientific grounds, citing not only the deterministic laws of classical physics, but also the findings of biology and neuroscience. The interdisciplinary conference "Free Will: New Perspectives from Philosophy, Biology and Neuroscience" brings together leading experts in philosophy, biology, and neuroscience who argue the opposite: the latest discoveries in biology and neuroscience, as well as quantum physics, in fact support free will. Free will is real and can be explained scientifically.
