The workshop convenes scholars and activists conducting research on the history of European human rights leagues. It follows up on a research project on the history of the Österreichische Liga für Menschenrechte (Austrian League of Human Rights), funded by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) 2008–2011, and is organised in cooperation with the Austrian League of Human Rights (Secretary General Kira Preckel) by project director Wolfgang Schmale and project collaborator Christopher Treiblmayr (Department of History, University of Vienna).

Registration by e-mail to christopher.treiblmayr@univie.ac.at is requested by May 11, 2014 at the latest. Due to the limited number of seats, registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received.
