Vortrag

In my talk I present my on-going research on autobiographical resistances and identity finding processes of women writers in the area of Hyderabad, South India. Their means of expression through short stories and poems derive from a strong feminist thought and highlight their various identity backgrounds. Hence, the question ‘who am I’ is essential when presenting the biographies and resistances of those women writers interviewed since 2011. With an intersectionality approach, I analyse issues they resist against and draw a larger picture when discussing gender relations, power structures and existing forms of inequality in the area of Hyderabad.
