Over the past decade, AI, the metaverse, and quantum physics have arguably been among the most hotly debated topics in the world of technoscience. Yet, it’s rare to see these three brought together in the same discussion. In this lecture, Professor WU Guanjun will present a new ontology that closely intertwines these fields. Drawing on Deleuzian interpretive frameworks, he will bring together an unexpected cast of thinkers and figures—Plato, Kant, Neo from The Matrix films, Stephen Hawking, and John Wheeler—as unlikely companions in this exploration.
