This conference will bring together experienced scientists from the fields of experimental and theoretical quantum information science. The conference talks will cover the latest scientific results and the most recent emerging developments in physics and quantum information.

 

In addition to talks, there will be time for discussions, posters sessions and satellite events. Furthermore, the conference also offers the opportunity for the presentation of the recent research results of the Special Research Programme (SFB) “BeyondC: Quantum Information Systems Beyond Classical Capabilities”. BeyondC consists of 12 research groups in Austria and Germany, including the University of Vienna (Brukner, Dakic, Walther), the University of Innsbruck (Briegel, Kirchmair, Kraus, Lechner, Monz, Weihs), the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (Fink), the Austrian Academy of Sciences (Roos) and the Max Planck Institute for Quantum Optics (Cirac).
