This is a special action research and learning programme organized in the context of the UNESCO UniTWIN Network on Gender Media and ICT, in partnership with the universities of Padova, Newcastle University, Complutense University of Madrid, University of Vienna.

The initiative is a unique opportunity to learn about and practice gender advocacy. The starting points for this collaboration are the various perspectives on violence against women on the media – focusing on online and physical attacks against women journalists – and through the media – highlighting the mediated context and conditions of femicide and other forms of violence against women.
