Opening the Black Box of Precedent
The aim of the conference is bringing together international scholars that with different approaches have contributed to the study of precedent and case-based reasoning as both ‘rules’ and ‘practice’ to combine different approaches to law, legal studies and legal theory in one scholarly event in order to dig deeper into the modi, practices, functions, prevalence, development, effects and limitations of precedent and case-based reasoning in European (and supranational European) legal systems.
