How to apply for a Christian Doppler Laboratory

Christian Doppler laboratories are established at universities and non-university research institutions to specifically foster cooperation between research institutions and industry. The research group, led by a highly-qualified (senior) scientist, therefore acts as a separate research unit with close contact to the industry partner(s), and works on application-oriented basic research topics.

CD labs follow a bottom-up approach, are implemented for up to 7 years and will be financed 50/50 by both the CD Gesellschaft and the industry partner(s).

 

DI Mag. Brigitte Müller (Deputy Secretary, Christian Doppler Gesellschaft) and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Veronika Somoza (CD-Laboratory for Bioactive Aroma Compounds) will give insights into the funding scheme and answer questions.

 

The information event is aimed at highly-qualified scientists employed at the University of Vienna.
