After successfully passing their A-levels, eight ambitious pupils return to school for another term to prepare for their Oxford and Cambridge entrance exams. Determined to have his students admitted to the prestigious universities, their headmaster hires a revolutionary, young and dynamic History teacher whose methods clash with those of their rather whimsical and traditional General Studies teacher. Caught between two teaching philosophies, the students wonder whether exams and grades are all that matters when it comes to learning.
The Students Acting Shakespeare Society is excited to tackle this play by Alan Bennet, which celebrated great success on the Westend, Broadway and the box office as their first modern production!
