Vortrag

The performance of the artist Arthur Elsenaar’s, who explores the anatomical landscape and artistic potential of human facial movements, will be of great interest both to artists and to scientists who study the perception and production of facial expressions, as well as the role of facial feedback for emotion recognition and emotion formation.

In addition, Sebastian Korb and Gernot Gerger, both researchers at the faculty of psychology, will present the theoretical and empirical scientific context, focusing on the study of facial expression with electromyography (EMG), and the role of facial feedback for the formation of our own emotions and for the recognition of other people’s emotions.
