The FWF-funded Doctoral Program “Integrative Structural Biology“ is a four year program established by the University of Vienna, the Medical University of Vienna, the Research Institute of Pathology (IMP) and the Max F. Perutz Laboratories (MFPL).

Integrative Structural Biology offers an initial three-month specialised training program in all techniques of structural and computational biology that will enable collegiates to investigate and elucidate the structure and function of biological processes at the molecular level.

The program started on 1st January, 2016 and has successfully filled all seven PhD positions with students from five countries.

The kick-off meeting features lectures from two outstanding scientists in the field, Andrej Sali (UC San Francisco) and Dino Moras (IGBMC, Strasbourg), as well as the thesis presentations of seven collegiates from the program.

Full details, including the full program, are available at www.phd-structural-biology.at
