SEFIRA is a Coordination Action financed by the EU 7th Framework Program, which has the objective of creating a coordination of transdisciplinary scientific and socio-economic resources in order to support the review and implementation of air quality legislation by the European Commission.
Since June 2013, SEFIRA works at the interface between environmental, economic and social sciences in order to achieve a deeper understanding of these complex issues, involving eight partners (five universities, two research institutes and one small medium enterprise), bringing together researchers from different European regions, and involving National and European Stakeholders in a process of dialogue and cooperative problem solving.
