What can I do with a PhD? Which jobs exist beyond academia and what does it take to get my favourite job? In 2018, the Career Symposium of the Environmental Sciences Research Network (ESRN) and the Center for Doctoral Studies at the University of Vienna aims at providing some answers.
This Symposium is organised for PhD candidates and young postdocs that currently work in environmental sciences or have a great interest in environmental topics. It gives you the opportunity to meet representatives from different areas of work, inside and outside of academia, to discuss possible career paths for environmental scientists, to strengthen your career development and to discover your marketable skills.

Wednesday, 10 Oct: Workshop "Strategic Career Development" (PhD candidates from ESRN member institutions)
