Data Science @ Uni Vienna is a new research platform at the University of Vienna that presents a hub on all activities in data science at the University of Vienna. Our primary focus is to bring researchers from different areas together to work on and solve several of the challenges that this new field presents.

The first year of our lecture series (2018/19) carries the theme of "What is Data Science?". The aim of all talks is to reach a wide audience in all sciences and industry, from bachelor students to accomplished scholars and industrial practitioners, from humanities to the natural sciences and business and government.

We are looking forward to seeing you! Registration for the event is not mandatory, but it will help us with the organisation.
