the Vienna Center for Taiwan Studies is screening the oldest and most influential of the Taiwanese language films, Brother Wang and Brother Liu tour Taiwan (1956) – the Taiwan version of Laurel and Hardy! Furthermore we are showing how Taiwan adopted Aesop fables – “The Fantasy of the Deer Warrior” is more serious than you would think.
