A group of Master students of the faculties of natural sciences of the University of Vienna are organising an interdisciplinary symposium on philosophy of science and social and historical contextualisation of scientific development. Seven University Professors from the university of Vienna and an international guest from Italy, will give talks on some of the main issues of scientific development, approaching them from different perspectives (philosophy, sociology, history, fundamental physics).
