Dr. English will engage participants in an active discussion on John Dewey’s concept of experience in “Democracy and Education.” During the discussion participants will analyse text passages. The aim of the session will be to make connections between Dewey’s concept of experience and his broader notions of teaching, learning, education, and Democracy.

English, Chancellor's Fellow in Philosophy of Education am Institute for Education, Teaching and Leadership, Moray House School of Education und University of Edinburgh hält diesen Vortrag im Rahmen des DoktorandInnenprogramms der SPL 43 und in Zusammenarbeit mit der Vorlesung 190126 VO M1a Bildungswissenschaft als Disziplin - Pädagogik als Wissenschaft - Grundfragen der Disziplin von Herrn Univ.-Prof. Dr. Henning Schluß.
